Welcome to the home of the Central New York Model Railroad Club & Historical Society, Inc. (CNYMRRC), located in Elbridge, NY. Formerly the site of the New York Central Railroad passenger and freight station at Skaneateles Junction, the building is now home to the club's 21' by 57' HO scale model train layout operating using today's electronic DCC systems. In addition to our operating layout, the station contains local railroad historical documents, photographs, route maps, artifacts, and memorabilia. Visitors are welcome during normal club meetings which are announced on our Facebook page.
Under the provisions of Phase III of the Governor's COVID-19 Re-Opening Plan, our club layout and museum is now open to the public. We meet on Friday evenings from 7 to 10 pm when visitors can observe members working on the new layout, laying and testing track, constructing new buildings, adding scenery and ground effects. The first Sunday of each month from 1 to 2 pm is reserved for club business meetings, after which members assemble trains and operate them around the layout through the various cities and towns, industries, businesses, and engine maintenance stops.
